Hope you all had a lovely weekend :)
I did a couple of things (beauty wise) over the weekend in between doing some laundry and sitting at a pub.
1. Got a Brazilian wax. I am definitely not one for being au natural down there and I like to keep things to a bare minimum below my knicker line but HOLY CHRIST I had gotten lazy and hadn't had a wax for maybe 3 months and jeez did I forget how painful they were.
Another contributing factor to the pain was that I went to a different beautician...I strayed from my usual glorious, no mercy, Chinese hair yanker and wow did I regret it. Has to be up there with one of the worst waxes I've ever had. I am still red and spotty, not to mention bruised and a little burnt.
If you have a well priced waxer-lady who doesn't bruise your lady bits, don't stray! I am staying on the waxing bandwagon, although I will be returning to my regular yanker!
2. I gave in and decided to get another Shellac manicure. I wanted something a little more permanent than my usual DIY nail polish that chips after 2 days.
Voila:
